In March 1944 my ancestors and many other Russian-German families had to flee their home in Katharinental (Beresan region, today Katerynivka, Mykolaiv Oblast, Ukraine) after 127 years.
Since 2021 I’ve been collecting everything I can find about Katharinental on this website – on the Internet, in books, magazines, archives and through personal contacts.
